So this year I've been wearing my hair out pretty long (like 5 inches plus). My life goal and dream is to be a lead singer in a metal band, so to accomplish this goal I feel I need long hair. However along the way, hair haters (aka my parents and older people) have been telling me I need a hair cut. I had, for awhile, resisted their demands and rebelled by growing my hair longer and longer. That was until recently a talented and very attractive photographer I know needed models for a 1940's Hollywood themed shoot she had planned. Naturally I volunteered, not wanting to pass up the chance to work with someone who's a better photographer but also work with someone who's photos I respected. When talking about the details she asked me "Paul, how long is your hair?", to which I replied "More hippie than 1940's distinguished gentleman". So I CUT IT. Lots of it. No more hair... Everyone at work gave me a good natured ribbing. "Are you the new guy?" "Paul you look like... civilized" "Did you loose weight?" and the best one "So what's her name?"

All in all it worked out. The photo shoot went excellent, it was fun and enlightening to see how someone else works. We even put some ideas together to get some quality shots including your's truly. I'm excited to see them.

And remember kids, it grows back... most of the time...
